Todd McVay has over 20 years experience in the dental industry. He has advised clients on how to build upon their strengths within their dental practice, as well as guided them through challenging areas within their business. Todd’s education and background in the business of dentistry provides him the ability to measure performance and profitability and also offer guidance to continually excel in these areas. He is well experienced, not only in consulting and coaching, but also with practice valuations, practice transitions, and associateships. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Central Washington University.

Dave Knutzen
Founder
Dave Knutzen’s legacy in professional practice management and transitions spans over 40 years of assisting doctors in their entrepreneurial success. He has been a valued consultant to well over 800 dental practices in the Western United States. His career in professional practice management and transitions has helped many firms achieve success. Dave has done practice appraisal/valuations for over 300 dental offices and has been involved, partially or fully, in the sale of in excess of 200 dental practices.

Catherine Stimson
Office Administrator
Cathy Stimson has been in the dental industry for over 20 years. She joined The Knutzen-McVay Group in 2011 as Administrative Support. Previously she worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist, treating patients in solo and associate general practice offices.
Cathy received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Shoreline Community College, and she furthered her education at the Business Computer Training Institute.

Jessica Kollman
Office Administrator
Jessica joined The Knutzen-McVay Group in April of 2013 as Administrative Support. After 14 years of being a stay-at-home mom, Jessica decided it was time to return to the work force. She comes to us with many years of administrative experience in the fields of engineering and law.
Jessica has taken numerous business/word processing courses at Bellevue College as well as Kapiolani College on Oahu, Hawaii during her 3-year stay there.

Meagan Tomlinson
Associate Broker
Meagan was born and raised in Seattle. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in History. She worked her way through college as an Assistant Office Manager in a dental practice. She has over 10 years of outside sales experience. Most recently she held a specialty sales position with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals. Meagan began with us back in September 2014 and after a few years away spending lots of quality time with her two young children, she has rejoined us as an Associate Broker. We are excited to have her join us as we continue to grow and expand.

Julie has been deeply engaged in the field of dentistry for more than 25 years. She has dedicated a significant portion of her career to collaborating closely with dentists and industry experts. Since 2017, she has been actively involved in the realm of dental practice transitions, building connections with those interested in buying or selling dental practices, as well as establishing relationships with key figures in the dental industry. Julie has also demonstrated excellence in managing dental businesses in the Pacific Northwest region. Her ability to oversee multiple practices and provide expert advice on management and guidance has been especially noteworthy.
Her extensive understanding of dental practices equips Julie with the ability to comprehend aspects of buying or selling a practice, effectively managing a practice, and tackling the daily challenges that arise. Her broad network, which includes dentists and experts, significantly enriches her capabilities. Julie particularly excels in facilitating connections between dentists who are looking to buy or sell practices.
